Galerij Brain Awareness Week 2023
Wat een succesvolle Brain Awareness Week 2023 op het Erasmus University College! 🧠
In slechts zes dagen hadden we een fantastische opkomst van meer dan 300 deelnemers, variërend van 8 tot 60+ jaar oud. Het evenement omvatte drie boeiende nachtelijke lezingen, 26 experimentele neurowetenschappelijke activiteiten, mini-lezingen en interactieve VR-ervaringen. Daarnaast waren er vier informatieve hersengerelateerde workshops en twee inzichtelijke hersendissecties.
We waren blij met de ruim 50 sprekers, waaronder (EUC) studenten, docenten, onderzoekers, verschillende Neuroscience labs van het Erasmus Medisch Centrum en externe deskundigen. Het evenement omvatte ook twee uitzonderlijke muziekoptredens.
Over het geheel genomen was de Brain Awareness Week een geweldige kans om de wonderen van onze vi te ontdekkenBREINt gemeenschap in Rotterdam!
The first day of Brain Awareness Week 2024 was full of amazing and fun activities, including the VR interaction with Justin Beaver, for all the kids from different elementary schools in Rotterdam who came to EUC to learn about the brain! 🧠
On Wednesday 13th of March, at RASL facilities we welcomed an amazing group of students from different high schools in Rotterdam, to spend a very interactive and fun brain day! 🧠
On Friday 15th of March Brain Awareness Week activities at EUC, were dedicated to adults 🧠
On Thursday 14th of March BAW went to Aafje where we shared with a beautiful group of senior citizens the benefits of dancing on mental health!🧠 🎼.
We had an amazing closing of Brain Awareness Week at Natuurhistorisch Museum with several talks, a documentary, guided visits to the Neuro labs at EMC, and different stands!
